Well able to make it through on a plane someware over Kansas.

LOL! This sounds like me. I had to fly to Boston a few times for company town halls, and I'd often get online and poke around my home network (and of course keep up with work email/chats).

I often reflect on what a miracle technology is today when compared with what I grew up with. But, I also think we've lost a lot. The world is just too darned fast and busy now.

its amazing that it used to take 30 mins in 2001 to download 1MB and now my phone can download 50MB in seconds.

i wonder if whats going to kill us first? the microplastics in our brains and balls or the wifi, etc signals penetrating our bodies all day and night.

30 minutes for 1MB sounds like what it used to take me on dialup with a 2400 baud modem.. And I had just gotten broadband in 2001 or 2002, and downloading 1MB was a lot quicker by then.

I've wondered about wifi signals doing that, but even before wifi, there were things like cordless phones using the same frequencies, and there have been TV and radio broadcast signals everywhere for many more years before that. I don't know if there have been significant studies showing their affect on our health.
